REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

• Create an account on loisirs.montreal.ca
• Make sure you and your children, regardless of their age, have a Carte biblio-loisirs that is valid on both the registration date and the starting date of the activity. Learn more about how to obtain or renew a card.
• Make sure your file is up to date, especially with regard to your contact details.
• Make sure you have a valid credit card on hand. Only Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. Aside from certain exceptions, taxes are included in the costs. 

For on-site registrations, payment may be made in cash, by Interac or by Mastercard or Visa credit card. 

LOW-INCOME FAMILIES 

Low-income families of Saint-Laurent who meet certain pre-established eligibility criteria can obtain discounts on fees for most activities offered by the Arrondissement. The evaluation must be made at least 10 days before registration. No refund will be issued after registration. 

Details are available at the Centre des loisirs and the Complexe sportif. 

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS 

The Direction de la culture, des sports, des loisirs et du développement social reserves the right to cancel any activity. In the event an activity is cancelled, the already registered participants will be refunded in full. 

No transfer or cancellation requests for summer camps will be accepted later than 14 days prior to the first day of the camp week, with the exception of a request due to illness on presentation of a medical certificate. Furthermore, each cancellation request will incur a $25 administration fee per camp or daycare week per participant. 

In the event of a refund, a $25 administrative fee applies as well as a prorated fee reflecting the number of classes completed prior to the request date. The final decision will be made by the Arrondissement. 

When a credit note is issued, no administrative charges are applied. However, an amount corresponding to the prorata of courses already completed at the date of the request is retained.

EXPLORERS CAMP

General interest camp. Rates : $138 per week. Location: Centre des loisirs

• Explorers Camp offers a variety of recreational and educational activities, with different themes each week.
• Participants are grouped according to age, for greater enjoyment and to help them learn to function in a group.

• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.

MINI CAMP

General interest camp. Price: $56 for both days. Location: Centre des loisirs

• Children aged 5 to 12 will participate in two days of packed activities on the theme of Holidays by the Sea. A host of fun activities will be offered to both the little ones and the older ones within the Centre des loisirs.
• Participants are grouped according to age, for greater enjoyment and to help them learn to function in a group.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, outdoor games, singing sessions swimming are offered.

ADVENTURERS CAMP

General interest camp. Rates : $138 per week. Location: Centre des loisirs

• Adventurers Camp offers a variety of recreational and educational activities, with different themes each week and the possibility of a bus outing.
• Participants are grouped according to age, for greater enjoyment and to help them learn to function in a group.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.

ARTISTIC CAMP

Specialized camp. Rates : $168 per week. Location: Centre des loisirs

• Artistic Camp offers participants daily artistic activities. They will be introduced to various artistic techniques through individual and group projects.
• Each session lasts one week and focuses on a different theme.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.
• Visits from specialists and bus outings are also part of the program.

LITERARY CAMP

Specialized camp. Rates : $168 per week. Location: Bibliothèque du Boisé

• Literary Camp gives participants the chance to discover various literary genres through books, a variety of activities and workshops led by specialists.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.

SCIENTIFIC CAMP

Specialized camp. Rates : $168 per week. Location: Centre des loisirs

• Participants are introduced to the world of science and are given the opportunity to take part in individual and group projects as well as scientific experiments on various themes.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.
• Visits by specialists and bus outings are also on the program.

SPORTS CAMP

Specialized camp. Rates : $168 per week. Location: Complexe sportif

• Sports Campoffers daily sports activities. Participants will be introduced to a number of sports to develop their interest and skills.
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, arts and crafts, outdoor games, singing sessions and swimming are offered throughout the summer.
• Although no bus outings are planned, sports specialists will visit the children every week.

MINI CAMP

General interest camp. Rates : $56 for the two days. Location: Centre des loisirs

• For two days, children aged 5 to 12 will participate in a week full of “Time travel”-themed activities. A variety of fun activities will be offered to both younger and older children within the Centre des loisirs. 
• Participants are grouped according to age, for greater enjoyment and to help them learn to function in a group. 
• Cooperative games, large-scale games, outdoor games, singing sessions swimming are offered.

TEEN CAMP – OUTINGS

TEEN CAMP – EXPEDITION

Rates : $378 for 2 weeks (1 week of outings and 1 week on an expedition: 3 days and 2 nights). 

Location: Complexe sportif and an outdoor recreational area

• The Teen Campis divided into two sections, extending over an 8-week period.
• The outdoor expedition component is spread over two weeks, while the outing component is offered on a weekly basis.
• During the expedition block, youngsters will discover various aspects of the outdoors through such activities as orienteering, survival, hiking and camping training. They will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice during a 3-day, 2-night expedition.
• During the outing block, participants will have the chance to take on a number of challenges and experience unforgettable moments. Different activities are planned every day as well as outings by bus.

IMPORTANT: registration must be done in person at the Centre des loisirs starting March 24, 2026. Spaces are limited. 

• Young people with disabilities or special needs can benefit from support services to facilitate their participation in a regular day camp.
• They must be able to follow all the activities of a regular day camp group of 10-12 children, but require a helper for certain aspects, such as:
  • Making sure they eat well
  • Helping them manage their emotions
  • Helping them communicate their needs
  • Facilitating their relations with their peers
  • Helping them actively participate in group activities
  • Helping them understand and/or follow instructions
• Each child is welcomed by staff trained mainly in leading activities, with additional training to ensure their safety and a quality experience.
• The Integration Program is designed to be an enriching experience for all young people at the day camp.
