This show combines jazz and traditional rhythms from Central and West Africa. Let Donald Dogbo and his musicians from Montreal’s emerging jazz scene transport you into a universe rich in these multiple heritages from here and elsewhere.

Description

Donald Dogbo was exposed to many musical and cultural encounters, from Africa to his arrival in Canada. Coubli, which means to go on an adventure in his native Bété language, is inspired by the evolution of jazz, which has deep roots in Africa.
