Lavanya et Projet Dharani
Projet Dharani is a collaboration between the rich musical traditions of India, Africa, and Latin jazz. In this acoustic fusion show, you’ll be enchanted by the voice of singer Lavanya Narasiah.
Description
The project is inspired by Lavanya Narasiah’s 2013 album Dharani (meaning earth in Sanskrit), which brought together more than 30 musicians from Montreal’s world music scene. This show featuring 6 artists has been designed to share pieces from the album while continuing to create new compositions.
