Come and discover swing dancing with Alice Bourgasser. After a one-hour introduction by the artist, you’ll have the chance to practice the swing steps you’ve learned in duets and solos, in a fun and friendly atmosphere!
Description
Trained at the École Supérieure de Musique et de Danse du Nord-Pas-De-Calais in contemporary dance, Alice fell into the swing pot thanks to the Grimaldi Danse school in Grenoble and its famous summer workshops. Since 2013, she has been taking part in a series of international workshops, always on the lookout for new developments and bridges between swing and contemporary dance! In 2016, she landed in Montreal and took advantage of the solidity of the swing community to develop her dance and perfect her lindy-hop and jazz solo skills. Alice quickly joined Studio 88’s team of teachers (and coaches!), and went on to win a string of competitions in Canada (1st place short showcase solo jazz O-town Showdown 2016; 2nd place solo jazz battle Swing A Dance 2016; 3rd place M&M Advanced CSC 2016 etc.).
