Description

Do you want to help biodiversity, but don’t know where to start?  This practical workshop, led by Jardin BUZZ’s Krin Haglund, will help you plan, budget and plant a beautiful biodiversity garden. Your pollinators are waiting!

There are special considerations when creating “wild” gardens in urban settings. You will see examples of best practices in designing urban gardens for pollinators as well as some inspiring examples. The workshop will also examine techniques for managing and planting highly beneficial but aggressive native plants. You will hear how to remove grass and see various planting and management strategies, from clover lawns to wildflower mixes. In addition, there will be an honest discussion of budget and time issues.

This is a bilingual workshop. For adults.
