Come celebrate the kickoff of the summer cultural program at Pierrefonds-Roxboro during our event, on June 8th and 9th, 2024.

Description

Throughout the weekend, a range of captivating activities will be offered for free.

Here’s the full program. 

June 8 : 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

  • Book Sale
  • Pierrefonds Public Market: over fifteen vendors will offer bakery, pastry, maple, and artisanal goods, as well as butcher products, fruits and vegetables, tea, pesto, and much more.
  • Learn more about our partners: North West Island Neighborhood Table, Eco-district Pierrefonds, and VertCité. 

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., take part in our Wool Pack: Thread Art Club activity.

From p.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy Children’s Face Painting. 

At 3 p.m., Leon Louder presents Entomophonie, entirely created from insect sounds. The playful and magnetic energy of insects permeates this sound ecosystem, unfolding strange polyrhythms and sensitive harmonies.

From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Story Hour with Bagatelle. She invites you to embark on adventures through magnificent tales and captivating stories with encounters of endearing characters and puzzles to solve together.  

From 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. experience Caterpillars for Kids! With Jardin Buzz

From 1 :30 p.m. to 4 p.m. fun awaits you at STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activities.

 At 3 p.m., enjoy The Crinoline with Hats show, inspired by absurd theater and accompanied by live music, this all-age circus show, filled with acrobatics, is a magnificent display of nonsense, marked by evident purity. 

Most of the activities will take place outdoors at the Pierrefonds Library Island, then continue in the Millennium Park and at the Pierrefonds Cultural Center.
