Avenue des Pins: Take a walk through its history

Discover Avenue des Pins’ history with an itinerary that marks significant events that took place there between the 17th and 20th centuries. The itinerary, which is composed of 13 stations, is accompanied by a podcast.

The 13 stations along Avenue des Pins between Rue Saint-Denis and Avenue du Parc street’s showcase the street’s rich heritage. A QR code displayed on lecterns gives you access to a podcast, in French and English, telling the history of the neighborhood. 

From the birth of the Hôtel-Dieu when Montréal was founded in 1642 to the Osstidcho show at the Théâtre de Quat’Sous in 1968, stories on this iconic street abound.
