Pierrefonds-Roxboro will welcome BIXI stations starting this summer!

The Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro is proud to announce the long-awaited arrival of BIXI self-service bike stations in the area. Find out more about this new transport offer!

Starting in June, eight stations will be gradually deployed at strategic locations to offer residents and visitors an active, convenient, and environmentally friendly transportation option.

All stations will be installed away from traffic lanes to ensure greater safety for users. As such, the stations will not be located directly on the street, with only one exception. Additionally, the equipment will be powered by solar panels, reinforcing the Borough’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.

  • Roxboro Park, near 11e Avenue et 9e Rue
  • Boulevard de Pierrefonds, near rue Athéna
  • Rue Fredmir, at the corner of boul. de Pierrefonds
  • Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall, near rue St-Léon et boul. De Pierrefonds
  • Rue Esther-Blondin, at the corner of boul. de Pierrefonds
  • Rue Guillaume, at the corner of boul. de Pierrefonds
  • Château-Pierrefonds Park, at the corner of boul. de Pierrefonds et Avenue du Château-Pierrefonds

Project Timeline

Start of station installation by BIXI: Week of May 21, 2025 

Mise en service des stations: Early June 2025 – Communications will be issued at that time.

The implementation of BIXI stations in the West Island marks a significant milestone in the expansion of Montreal’s bike-sharing network. The Borough invites the public to take full advantage of this new service upon its official launch.
