Redevelopment of Place Henri-Dunant, Parc Hector-Toe-Blake and the surroundings

The new infrastructures further add to the offer of public places and green spaces, improve pedestrian comfort, and create an even more attractive urban environment for local residents.

Residents of Ville-Marie will enjoy new spaces in which to socialize, developed with their comfort in mind, including: 

  • A playground
  • A fitness training area
  • Mist makers to cool off 
  • Additional bicycle stands to encourage active mobility
  • Benches and picnic tables 

These improvements were made at Place Henri-Dunant, Parc Hector-Toe-Blake, and on Rue Tupper, Rue du Sussex and Avenue Hope.

The work operations included the reconstruction of nearby roads and sidewalks, and the addition of curb extension with vegetation. Sewer and water supply pipes were also rehabilitated.
