Youth and Seniors' Councils: a review of activities in 2024

Throughout the year 2024, the new recruits to the Youth Council and the Seniors Council rolled up their sleeves with the aim of improving the daily lives of Pierrefonds-Roxboro’s youth and seniors.

The Youth Council worked intensively to :

  • Educate themselves on the importance of ethical communications.
  • Refine their techniques for representing youth to elected officials.
  • Propose concrete ideas to improve public transit.

As for the Seniors Council, they :

  • Exchanged with the SPVM on elder abuse.
  • Attended conferences on fraud prevention.
  • Suggested bench designs for our parks and participated in discussions on cultural and leisure programs.

With inspiring projects for 2025, our two councils are more motivated than ever to make your voices heard.
