Description
It has a 114-seat performance hall and an exhibition hall. Attendance is free. The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal is very committed to its community. It offers multidisciplinary cultural mediation projects with the population and hosts artistic residencies.

Ticket office
All events are free.
Passes are available two (2) weeks before the activity date:
- At the arts centre, during our opening hours
- Using the online box office (no per-ticket service fee).The online box office closes one hour before the start of the performance.
Maximum of four (4) tickets per person or six (6) tickets for shows for young audiences.
Please check the age limits indicated for children.
Tickets are valid up to five (5) minutes before the event.
If the show is sold out, you can show up at the door before the show. Unreserved seats will be available five minutes before the show and assigned in order of arrival.
We do not accept late arrivals.
Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the event.
There is no charge to visit the exhibitions.
People with functional limitations
Two reserved parking spaces are located in front of the building. A fixed access ramp, a gentle slope and an automated door opener give access to the building. There are also four steps with a handrail for access to the building.
On the ground floor, washrooms are accessible with assistance. The exhibition hall and the venue are equipped with manoeuvring areas at least 1.5 m in diameter.
Six (6) seats are reserved at the front of the theatre for people with functional limitations. You can contact us at least 24 hours ([email protected]) before the show so we can secure a seat for you.
Sensorially adapted shows
Sensorially adapted shows are open to everyone, and can especially meet the needs of people who identify with a sensory or intellectual disability, a neurological or learning disorder, an anxiety disorder, people accompanied by newborns or anyone who does not feel comfortable with the conventions of a traditional show environment.
The sound and visual atmosphere is adapted to create a calm and inclusive environment. Sound levels are reduced and the light is dimmed. People can come and go as they please. Complete silence is not required.
Tours and workshops
The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal offers guided tours of its exhibitions and creative workshops free of charge. School groups (from preschool to CEGEP), day care centres, community groups or any other organized group are welcome. Reservations required.
Artist residencies
The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal makes its place and its facilities accessible to the community by hosting creative residencies. To submit an application, please write to [email protected].
Environmental responsibility
The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal has implemented actions to improve its practices towards environmental responsibility, such as reducing the printing of brochures, reducing the use of paper, eliminating physical tickets, replacing water bottles with reusable bottles, the use of second-hand dishes and the promotion of public transportation. The Maison de la culture du Plateau-Mont-Royal creates a local program of events by promoting local talent.
