Mission
Montréal has 18 éco-quartiers with points of service in 16 boroughs.
Non-profit organizations with strong roots in the community manage the éco-quartier program. The éco-quartiers are first-line resources for people who want to develop eco-responsible habits.
Program activities
Éco-quartiers oversee a number of activities, such as:
- Developing green lanes
- Distribution and selling ecological products
- Environmental educational activities
- Environmental project, in collaboration with residents
- Greening projects
- Organizing cleanups
- Selling trees for the “A Tree in My Neighbourhood” campaign
