The TNRM Program helps to reduce the overpopulation of street cats, improve their well-being, reduce euthanization and prevent rabies. To participate, you must apply to your borough for a permit and complete training offered by the SPCA. Some boroughs do not offer this program.
As a volunteer, you will:
Identify and trap street cats.
Make an appointment with the SPCA to have them spayed free of charge.
Bring the cats back to the same place where you trapped them.
Make sure they have cat food, fresh water and a shelter for the winter.
