Street food

Last updated April 19, 2024

As soon as the warm weather returns, food trucks roll out into the boroughs of Montréal. These trucks have become a fixture at several local events.

Food trucks offer “street food” at certain events held by the city’s boroughs. They can be seen at block parties, at sporting, cultural and community events, and at promotional events. They occupy sites on a temporary basis and move from one site to another throughout the season.

Food truck activities generally take place as soon as the weather permits and continue until October 31.

The Association des restaurateurs de rue du Québec publishes a calendar of food truck visits to local neighbourhoods.
