Take advantage of the beautiful summer weather to enjoy shows in our parks, family outings and outdoor movies. The borough has put together an excellent program for you. And good news! It’s all free of charge…
Whether on the waterfront or in more residential neighbourhoods, our parks are very lively places in summer and many cultural events are held here.
La Fête nationale du Québec and Canada Day
This year, we’ve organized a number of events and activities to keep you entertained during your long holiday weekends. Funfair games, shows, circus workshops and more.

L'OM prend l'air
Centraide du Grand Montréal presents a show by the Orchestre Métropolitain with maestro Naomi Woo. Activities for children and a mini-concert by Harmonie de Lachine are planned.

New: Les Pique-niques musicaux
Every Wednesday evening, at Parc Noël-Spinelli, come for a picnic in a festive atmosphere:
- 6 p.m. : games on loan and background music
- 7 p.m. : p.m.: a show by up-and-coming or more seasoned bands

Théâtre La Roulotte
Théâtre La Roulotte will be stopping by at Parc Noël-Spinelli to delight the little ones. FORTISSIMO! is a crazy musical fantasy which tells the story of little Mozart’s recital in Nouvelle-France.

Outdoor movie
Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and make yourself comfortable in our parks for a family movie. The feature film will starts at nightfall around 8:30 p.m.

Les Fêtes de Lachine
This great summer celebration returns on August 17, starting at 1 p.m. in Parc LaSalle. In addition to inflatable play structures, a kermesse, activities at the skateboard park and eats from local restaurants, there will be lots of shows to watch all throughout the day.

Exhibitions
No time off for the exhibitions this summer! The Musée de Lachine and L’Entrepôt, maison de la culture de Lachine will be presenting a few exhibitions for you to visit, rain or shine.

Children’s activities
The Musée de Lachine, the Bibliothèque Saul-Bellow and the Bibliothèque de Saint-Pierre will be organizing various summer activities to keep the little ones occupied during their summer vacation.
