Giant works of art grace LaSalle’s landscape. They are impressive, each in their own way, for their originality, their quality, their colours and the history they represent.

Murale Dollard-St-Laurent (707, 75e Avenue)

Interior mural by MU artists Layla Folkmann and Lacey Jane. This work of art helps preserve the memory of the famous hockey player Dollard St-Laurent, a legendary icon of our national sport and four-time Stanley Cup winner with the Montreal Canadiens.

At the intersection of 4e Avenue and rue Centrale

Mural by MU artist Bryan Beyung. This work of art was inspired by nature and the history of the neighbourhood. It was named one of the ten most beautiful murals in Montréal in 2020 by the C’est toi ma ville website.

At the intersection of avenue Dollard and rue Lithuania

An original work of art by Fluke, a well-known LaSalle artist who has created many murals in Montréal, elsewhere in Canada and around the world. It was inspired by the neighbourhood, its multi-ethnic nature and several LaSalle symbols.

Parc Hayward (170, avenue Orchard)

Artist Franco Égalité created a mural on the outside wall of La Bicoque – Maison des jeunes de LaSalle. A work of art to admire, highlighting the freedom of young people in this space.

Aréna Jacques-Lemaire (8681 boulevard Champlain)

A huge mural was inaugurated in honour of the great hockey legend Jacques Lemaire. Born in LaSalle, Jacques Lemaire was a prolific player and talented coach. This original work of art by artist Olivier Gaudette is a legacy for generations to come, ensuring that they never forget the important contribution this great LaSalle man made to the heritage of our national sport.
