• Exterior gutters properly connected and free of obstructions

Protect your property

• Caulk doors and windows.
• Place documents and other important belongings in a watertight container and store them upstairs.
• Elevate furniture, appliances and hazardous materials.
• Be prepared and buy equipment such as a pump, generator, sandbags, etc.
• Install a submersible pump and check valves in the basement, if you haven’t already done so.
