The Arrondissement de Lachine offers you lifesaving training as well as swimming lessons and fitness courses at low prices. Discover the courses and details about registration:

Three sessions are offered during the year: fall, winter-spring and summer. Depending on the season, classes are held at the pool at the Collège Sainte-Anne sports complex or at the Parcs LaSalle and Kirkland outdoor swimming pools.

Swimming lessons

The borough offers the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program for youngsters and adults. Children must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian for the Parent & Tot 1, 2 and 3 classes.

If you need information about your child’s level,  send us an email or read the document written by the Société de sauvetage.

Physical fitness courses

Aquatic fitness courses for adults are also available: aquaforme, aquajogging, aquabootcamp, aquanatal and aquapoussette.  Water sports work your muscles  and cardio and reduce the risk of joint injuries.

Lifesaving training

Courses in first aid and lifesaving are also available for re-certification and upgrading skills. Some courses are subsidized bye the Québec government and are now free of charge.

Swimming training

Would you rather train with other motivated people? CALAC, a recognized organization in our borough, teaches you to improve your endurance and speed through training sessions adapted to your needs. Contact them for more details.

For solo swimmers, there are lane swimming periods on the public swim schedule at the pool at the Collège Sainte-Anne sports complex from September to May Admission is free.
