Saint-Laurent's Zone épique

Designed for children aged 8 to 12, Saint-Laurent’s Zone épique offers a multitude of fun and educational activities inspired by various themes.
From January 18 to May 11, 2025, Saint-Laurent invites children aged 8 to 12 to discover the arts, sciences and sports in a fun and enriching atmosphere. Activities are led by qualified municipal employees with a minimum of 55 hours of training. Fifth and sixth graders will be placed in Zone épique + to take part in a variety of age-appropriate activities.
Activities include:
- Introduction to different forms of art, sciences, and sports
- Cooperative games, large-scale games, crafts, outdoor games, etc.
Activitiy schedule and locations
- Saturdays at the Centre des loisirs de Saint-Laurent from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
- Sundays at the Centre communautaire du parc Painter from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Registration
- Starting December 3, on loisirs.montreal.ca.
- Telephone assistance is available at 514-855-6110.
- The registration fee is $5 per day.
- Family rates: A $1 discount is offered for a second participant from the same family and $2 for a third.

- February 22 : Le monde des Vikings (activities suspended February 23 - Fête d’hiver au parc Painter)
- March 1-2 : Activities suspended (school break)
- March 8-9 : L’académie des monstres
- March 15-16 : Le robot de l’avenir
- March 22-23 : Le secret des pyramides
- March 29-30 : La lampe du génie
- April 5-6 : Évade-toi
- April 12-13 : L’agence N.I.N.J.A.
- April 19-20 : Activities suspended (Easter break)
- April 26-27 : L’opération lingot d’or
- May 3-4 : Monopoly
- May 10-11 : Fête finale
Each two-week block is dedicacted to carrying out a project.
- January 18-19 and 25-26 : Projet de murale
- February 1-2 and 8-9 : Projet de théâtre
- February 15 and 22 : Projet de sciences et d’expérimentations (activities suspended February 23 - Fête d’hiver au parc Painter)
- March 1-2 : Activities suspended (school break)
- March 8-9 and 15-16 : Projet de bandes dessinées
- March 22-23 and 29-30 : Projet de cirque et de magie
- April 5-6 and 12-13 : Projet de génie et de construction
- April 19-20 : Activities suspended (Easter break)
- April 26-27 and May 3-4 : Projet de film et de cinéma
- May 10-11 : Fête finale
