3RV Rockets
Take part in this recycling workshop!
Description
We begin by exploring the fate of the materials we recycle and what happens to them once collected. We also explain the concept of “3RV” which stands for Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, and how these principles are essential for waste management.
Next, we move on to the practical phase where kids use recycled materials, tape, and scissors to construct an aerodynamic rocket as well as a propulsion tube for their rocket.
Once their rockets are ready, participants have the opportunity to individually experiment with the range of their rockets using a launch ramp specially designed for the workshop. This artistic experience allows children to be both witnesses and actors of a concrete project that amusingly illustrates the recycling cycle.
Bilingual. For ages 5 to 12.
