Bike repair workshop
A self-help workshop to learn basic maintenance and repair techniques for your bikes, so you can pedal with joy this summer. Hosted by Catherine Bilodeau.
Description
Our bicycle repair workshop is back again this year!
Catherine Bilodeau will be on hand to teach you how to change a wheel, tighten your brake cables or clean your chain. If you’d like to find out how to do some basic repairs and maintenance on your bikes, you’re more than welcome to join us!
The workshop will take place outside the library, under the courtyard at the front, or under the big tree at the back, depending on the weather.
Please note: In a gesture of respect for our workshop leader and her volunteer helpers, we ask you to respect the workshop schedule and arrive between 1 and 3.30pm, as the workshop will finish at 4pm.
Call for volunteers: we’re looking for enthusiasts who could give us a hand to look after more bikes. Don’t hesitate to call us and suggest your presence to Caroline, the event’s organizing librarian, at 514 872-4147. We’d love to hear from you!
