In this hands-on workshop you will make seed balls that can help monarch butterflies! Jardin Buzz will first teach you all about the important monarch host plant, milkweed, that is native to Quebec! Then you will make your own seed balls to plant! 
 
Gardeners are an important part of the solution to helping pollinators. However, the choices of well-meaning gardeners can sometimes have negative consequences. We will also discuss the ethical issues surrounding non-native seed bombs and plant choices, such as buddleia davidii and tropical milkweed.
