Description

Virginia Woolf’s Orlando is a biographical short story that spans the ages. The character changes life and gender, but remains fascinated by art. In Orlando by the Orchestre Métropolitain, theater and symphonic music come together.

About the director.

In September 1992, Lorraine Pintal became the first woman to direct the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (TNM). By surrounding herself with an exceptional team to whom she communicated her enthusiasm, energy and creativity, Lorraine Pintal led the TNM to play a leading role on the Montreal and Quebec cultural scene. After 32 years as Artistic Director, she has just taken her leave.

Under her leadership, the TNM has returned to a certain theatrical modernity, with a sense of celebration and eventfulness that enables the theater to reach a very wide audience.
