Yoel Diaz and Mundo Jazz Quartet
Pianist, author and composer Yoel Diaz Avila favors acoustic music. He and his musicians offer a repertoire inspired by Spanish, Cuban, Latin and jazz influences.
Description
The piano replaces the bass in the quartet’s sound. On the piano, the left hand provides rhythmic accompaniment with the cajon and percussion. The vibraphone enriches the harmony with the piano and saxophone as melodic instruments.
