As part of the modernization of the deposit-refund system, the Association québécoise de récupération des contenants de boisson (AQRCB)/Consignaction has announced that two locations for dropping off returnable containers are now open in LaSalle.

CONSIGNACTION

Target clientele: Residents

  1. Return of single items by means of automated deposit refund machines
  2. Express return, which allows you to drop off a bag of unsorted containers

Address: 1110 avenue Dollard

Target clientele: Residents, industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) establishments as well as on-site consumption establishments (ÉCSP).

Services offered:

Under the Consignaction+ banner, this return facility is the first on the Island of Montréal. It features state-of-the-art, high-performance equipment. Everything is on site to quickly and efficiently process larger quantities of returnable beverage containers.

  • Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Expanding the deposit-refund system to new containers

Starting March 1, 2025, at the launch of Phase 2, a large number of new beverage containers, such as wine and spirits bottles, as well as water bottles, will be returnable, along with a new material: multi-layer cardboard.
