Lachine is joining the Faire danser un village movement! The filming will take place at a number of symbolic locations in the borough on August 24, 25 and 26. To take part in the filming, send an email to [email protected] . No dance experience necessary! Everyone is invited.
The Faire danser un village project was sparked in 2018. It was the brainchild of Maude Lecours and Marie-Claude Lord, who dreamed of making their world dance around the simple fact of being happy to live in the Brome-Missisquoi region. In late May 2018, the team produced and directed the first Faire danser un village video, filming people dancing in their respective communities of Cowansville, Dunham and Frelighsburg. Since then, they have continued the adventure by prompting other Québec communities to dance in order to promote them!
Lachine is the first Montréal borough to join the movement. This project is designed to bring people together and create a movement of attachment to our community. Share the news; it’s party time!
