The borough of LaSalle, a proud partner of the Fête du voisinage (Neighbourhood Parties), encourages you to get together on Saturday, June 1, 2024, by organizing a party to create or strengthen ties with your neighbours.

Would you like to organize a Neighbourhood Party?

  1. Choose the format you prefer (happy hour, BBQ, etc.).
  2. Identify a suitable location for your party: backyard, parking lot of a house or building, alley, etc.
  3. Register your party on Espace MUNI, the website of the Québec organization that oversees the event. By registering your party, you will be able to receive the various downloadable promotional tools by email, including promotional posters, invitation cards, the Fête logo as well as banners and images for the social networks. You will also have access to a downloadable guide to organizing a Neighbourhood Party.
  4. Send an email to the Borough if you need information about organizing your party: [email protected]
  5. Plan your party and invite the people in your neighbourhood.
  6. Have fun and socialize with your neighbours at your event on Saturday, June 1!

About Neighbourhood Parties

The Fête des voisins (Neighbours’ Day) originated in France in 1999 and quickly spread throughout Europe. Québec joined the movement in 2006 through the Réseau québécois de villes et villages en santé.
