At the public information meeting on April 12, 2023, we announced that the redevelopment would begin in 2023. 

However, the work involves a number of special features that require prior authorisation from the ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte aux changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs.

Numerous steps and assessments must be conducted in order to meet the criteria required by the Ministry, resulting in longer-than-anticipated delays.

The Borough is fully aware of the importance of this project, both for local residents and all users of this public road.

We are working closely with the Ministry to get this project underway as soon as possible. To date, the revised schedule calls for the project to start in 2025 at the earliest.

 The public will be informed of any updates to the project.
