At the Borough Council meeting held on Monday, March 4, 2024, the elected officials adopted the position paper submitted to the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) as part of its public consultation on mass transit proposals for Montréal’s greater southwest area.

The position paper expresses the Borough’s opinion on the six proposed routes and three means of public transit under study, designed to serve not only LaSalle, but also Lachine and Dorval.

With over 90,000 residents and 26,000 workers, the need for a public transit system that meets the community’s needs is undeniable, and the ARTM’s proposals represent significant progress in this direction.

We invite you to read the press release below to learn more about the Borough’s position.
