Sunday, May 19, 2024: LaSalle street closures

A cultural event will be held in LaSalle on Sunday, May 19, 2024. For maximum safety during this activity, the following streets will be closed to motor vehicle traffic:

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

  • Rue Cordner, closed between Gervais and Lapierre  

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. 

  • Rue Lapierre: closed* between Cordner and Newman  
  • Rue Juliette: closed* between Lapierre and Préville  
  • Rue Préville: closed* between Juliette and Danièle  
  • Rue Danièle: closed* between Préville and Gervais  
  • Rue Gervais: closed* between Danièle and Cordner  

*The streets will gradually reopen to traffic after the procession has passed. 

No parking on streets closed to traffic  

Temporary signs prohibiting vehicles from parking will be installed along the entire route, starting Saturday morning, May 18, 2024. We are counting on your cooperation to obey these parking restrictions. Starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024, offenders will be issued statements of offence and their vehicles will be towed away.

The Montréal police will supervise the procession; moreover, a number of volunteers from the Association will also be on hand all along the route to ensure safety.
