A Variety of Programs for Journées de la culture in Lachine

Take part in the free activities organized by the borough of Lachine September 27 - 29 to mark the 28th edition of the Journées de la culture.

A number of Lachine organizations have joined forces with the borough of Lachine to offer a wide range of cultural discoveries.

Activities at L’Entrepôt, maison de la culture de Lachine

  • Braille - l’art au delà du visuel, an exhibition by WECAN
    Friday, September 27, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
    Saturday & Sunday, September 28 & 29, noon - 5 p.m.
  • Cultural mediation workshop - Torpédo. Introduction to improvisation, movement theatre and specific creative methods. Two participants may take part in the 4 p.m. show. Register by email at [email protected]

  • Interdisciplinary improvisation match - Torpédo. This colourful show features an impressive line-up of talented artists facing off in theatrical, musical and dance challenges. Celebrate diversity in all its forms!

  • Étoile du Nord documentary ein the presence of director Patrick Bossé. Follow the inspiring journey of Laurie Rousseau-Nepton, resident astronomer at the prestigious Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope.

Activity organized by the Musée de Lachine

  • Sculpture dansé : guided tour of outdoor public artwork. Through dance exercises, discover works of art from the sculpture garden in Parc René-Lévesque in a new way. Meeting point: main entrance to Parc René-Lévesque, at the end of the parking lot
