Eco-friendly stage

Guided by the desire to play an active part in the ecological transition, the Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto was awarded the gold accreditation in 2023 from the Conseil québécois des événements écoresponsables (in French). The arts centre is committed to reducing the environmental impact of shows and exhibitions; encouraging responsible consumption by staff, performers and audiences; and supporting knowledge sharing with its partners.

Visits and workshops

The Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto offers free guided tours of its exhibitions and creative workshops. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, you’ll find an activity that suits you. The program varies based on age groups and what's currently on exhibition. School groups (preschool to CEGEP), daycares, community groups, day camps and any other organized groups are welcome. Reservations required.

Artists in residence

The Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto supports a large number of Montréal artists through its incubation program, which provides them with the spaces, equipment and professional technical resources they need to create new works. The arts centre welcomes artists for creative residencies (in French) or public rehearsals.
