The large Parc Maisonneuve is known for hosting major gatherings, for its sprawling green spaces conducive to relaxation, and for the sheep that “mow” its lawns.

Description

The large Parc Maisonneuve offers a variety of activities year-round, including cross-country and skating step skiing, sliding, and ice skating on a rink with a view of the Olympic Stadium’s Montréal Tower. Visitors can use the park’s chalet to warm up. The skating rink is illuminated during the evening.

In summer, train on the bike and inline skating path. If you listen carefully during your picnic, you might hear the melodious vireo, a tiny bird known for its varied, continuous song.
