Parc Toto-Bissainthe
Parc Toto-Bissainthe, located at the corner of Avenue Van Horne and Rue Hutchison in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal has been redeveloped.
Description
The project provides a new playground, new furniture and free-standing play modules, new street lights, paving-stone and stone-dust pathways, grassed areas and new trees and shrubs.
Playgrounds accessible year-round
The swings and other equipment in the parks with playgrounds in the borough are now available year-round.
Caution is still advised, especially during freezing periods.
Use of a barbecue in the picnic area
It is prohibited to use a barbecue powered by charcoal or any other fuel, except propane gas or butane, in order to improve the quality of life and safety in our parks and to prevent fire risks to urban furniture as well as waste enclosures. It is also prohibited to abandon any empty gas or butane canisters.

Area under adaptive management
Did you know that over 5,500 m² of land in the borough are maintained using an adaptive management approach? That’s why the grass is longer in certain park areas of the Plateau, like this one. This method promotes biodiversity, helps combat climate change, and supports our greening efforts.
