Self-service vehicle (SSV) parking
In order to facilitate self-service vehicle parking, several boroughs permit the use of residents-only street parking zones. Learn more about which boroughs allow SSV parking in these zones.
Boroughs that allow self-service vehicle parking
Universal parking stickers numbered 403 (gasoline or hybrid SSVs) and 405 (electric SSVs) allow self-service vehicle drivers to park in residents-only street parking zones in the following 13 boroughs:
- Ahuntsic-Cartierville
- Anjou
- Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce
- LaSalle
- Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
- Le Sud-Ouest
- Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
- Outremont
- Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie
- Saint-Laurent
- Verdun
- Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension
- Ville-Marie
Downtown parking
To offer SSVs greater access to downtown, some 50 parking spaces are reserved for self-service electric vehicle users in Ville-Marie.
New residents-only street parking zones are accessible to self-service vehicle users. SSV driver now have access to the following zones: 11, 12, 22, 37, 41, 50, 52, 58, 85, 86, 128, 147 and 161.
