Would you like to improve your business connections in the biofood sector? Montréal is organizing six virtual trade show days to promote exchanges between businesses in the regions and those in Montréal.

Facilitating partnerships

Networking activities for entrepreneurs and business executives are offered free of charge. They target six sectors of the biofood industry in six regions of Québec:

  • Microbreweries, vineyards and cider houses in the Estrie (Eastern Townships)
  • Seafood products from the Côte-Nord
  • Local boreal products from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean
  • The maple industry in the Bas-St-Laurent
  • Superfoods of the Capitale-Nationale
  • The diversified breadbasket region of the Laurentides

These networking events will allow participants to broaden their networks, create partnerships, penetrate new markets, deepen their knowledge of the economic fabric, the Montréal market and regional markets, and acquire new expertise.

In the morning, specialized speakers will address the opportunities and challenges of the biofood sector and the regions during conferences and panel discussions (registration required).

In the afternoon, regional and Montréal companies can participate in personalized virtual meetings.

These trade show days are organized in collaboration with regional economic development and promotional organizations.

Financed by the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation and the city, the Affaires Montréal Régions project aims to promote commercial exchanges between Montréal and the regions for inclusive socio-economic development, stimulate local purchasing, promote Québec businesses, innovate and facilitate access to new technologies.
