Have you been deemed eligible for the two components of the subsidy program for buildings occupied by social economy businesses? Learn how to get your instalment of this financial assistance.

The subsidy is paid in two instalments:

  • The first instalment, which corresponds to the subsidy received under component 1 covering the purchase of a building or a lot, is paid when the deed of sale is signed.
  • The second instalment, which corresponds to the subsidy received under component 2 covering the renovation or construction of a building, is paid upon completion of the work.

Required documents

For the first instalment

You must provide the deed of sale of the building.

For the second instalment

  • A copy of the bills for professional services rendered and proof of payment thereof.
  • A copy of all the permits required to perform the work and proof of payment thereof.
  • A substantial work completion certificate signed by a person authorized to do so under law, for example an architect or an engineer.
  • Photos of any part of the building or the premises where the work was performed.
