Did you receive an invoice for your water consumption? Find out how to pay it.

Owners of buildings that are partly or wholly used for non-residential purposes pay rates based on the volume of water they consumed. Bills sent out this year are for last year’s consumption. Learn more

Receiving your invoice

Water invoices are mailed out  to four times a year depending on the water consumption.

Paying your invoice

Water invoices under $300 are payable in one instalment. The others are payable in two instalments.

Payment deadlines appear on the invoice.

Communication channels

Go to an Accès Montréal office with the detachable part of your tax notice and your payment.

Only the following methods of payment are accepted:

  • Debit card
  • Cheque payable to “Ville de Montréal,” in Canadian dollars, drawn on a Canadian bank account
  • Postal money order payable to “Ville de Montréal,” in Canadian dollars
  • Cash (check the authorized limit at the point of service)

You can also pay your account at your financial institution’s counter or automated teller machine.
