Renew or replacing your Accès Montréal card

If you wish to renew your Accès Montréal card if it is expired or about to expire, or if you want to replace it if it is lost or stolen, learn more about what you need to do.

Replacing a lost or stolen Accès Montréal card

You can apply for a new card at a point of sale or by writing to [email protected]. The replacement card is free of charge.

Renewing an Accès Montréal card

A renewal notice is sent to you by postal mail one month prior to your card’s expiry date.

Fees

Children under the age of 4: generally enjoy activities free of charge (check with Accès Montréal partners)

1st card

$8.25

2nd card

$7.25

3rd card and subsequent

$6.25

Required documents

If you still live at the same address:

  • Renewal notice

If you have moved?

Your Accès Montréal card number and one proof of residence dated within the last 12 months, from the following documents:

  • Québec driver’s license
  • School or municipal tax account
  • Monthly statement from a credit or financial institution
  • Notice of tax assessment or T4 slip
  • Proof of identity and residence issued by Doctors of the World

Communication channels

Online

Fill out the online form.

You will receive a sticker by postal mail within five weeks of renewing. The transaction receipt may be used as a temporary card for three months.

Renewing your card

Payment method accepted:

Credit card (MasterCard, Visa)

In person

Renewing your card: Go to an Accès Montréal office with your old card.

  • Renewal : a renewal sticker will be put on your card that same day.
  • Replacement : if your card is still valid, you will be given a new card free of charge. If your card has expired, you will be required to submit a new application.

Lost or stolen card: Go to an Accès Montréal office.

Due to COVID-19, please note that is currently not possible to get an Accès Montréal card in a library.
