Replacing a lost or stolen Accès Montréal card

You can apply for a new card at a point of sale or by writing to [email protected]. The replacement card is free of charge.

Renewing an Accès Montréal card

A renewal notice is sent to you by postal mail one month prior to your card’s expiry date.

Required documents

You need to provide a photo only if you are replacing your card and if the photo was taken more than 3 years ago.

If you still live at the same address:

  • Renewal notice, as proof of address

If you have moved?

Your Accès Montréal card number and one proof of residence dated within the last 12 months, from the following documents:

  • Québec driver’s license
  • School or municipal tax account
  • Monthly statement from a credit or financial institution
  • Notice of tax assessment or T4 slip
  • Proof of identity and residence issued by Doctors of the World

Communication channels

Fill out the online form.

You will receive a sticker by postal mail within eight weeks of renewing. The transaction receipt may be used as a temporary card for six months.

Renewing your card

Payment method accepted:

Credit card (MasterCard, Visa)

Renewing your card: Go to an Accès Montréal office with your old card.

  • Renewal : a renewal sticker will be put on your card that same day.
  • If you are replacing a card that is still valid, you will receive a temporary card that you can use until your new card arrives by mail. If your card has expired, you will be required to submit a new application.

Lost or stolen card: Go to an Accès Montréal office.
