Legal character
Section VI of the Rules of the municipal courts contains provisions concerning the hearing roll. Under section 13 of the Act, the hearing roll is prepared by the court clerk under the authority of the presiding judge.
The Act stipulates that the roll must include the record number, the names of the parties, the date, the time of the session, and the courtroom. In addition, it states that the roll must be posted at the entrance to the courtroom and that copies must be made available for viewing by the different parties.
If the information posted on the online hearing roll differs from the information on your hearing notice, the latter or any other document summoning you to appear in court will take precedence.
If the information differs (location, date and time), you can contact a customer service agent.
