The borough of Lachine’s zoning has been modified to allow for improved car-sharing services, whether reserved or self-service.

New Flex stations
The Lachine-Centre sector is now home to Communauto’s Flex service. Cars are available there for members, without reservation, on condition that they be returned to one of the Flex zones on the island of Montréal. The new Flex zone is located between 16e and 25  avenues, and between boulevard Saint-Joseph and rue Saint-Antoine.

More Communauto cars
New cars have also been added to the 10 existing stations, and 4 new fixed stations have been added to Communauto’s services for Lachine residents:

  • municipal parking lot on rue Victoria (at 25e Avenue)
  • Parc Dixie (54e Avenue)
  • Aréna Pierre “Pete” Morin,
  • 39e Avenue (at Broadway).
