Fairground games outside the Musée de Lachine

2 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Activities maintained under the big tent: games of skill and musical performances)

At the Musée’s outdoor site, take part in games of skill, wit and dexterity, just like the fun fairs of days gone by. Performers will also dazzle you with their prowess on the cocagne greasy pole and in the flying machine. The bravest can even try it out!

Entertainment and circus demonstrations will be interspersed with musical performances.

Musical Party at Parc Noël-Spinelli

Starting at 8 p.m.

Patriotic speeches, tribute to the flag, shows from Vilain Pingouin and Mononc’ Serge et les Crosmonautes.

The Parc Noël-Spinelli is located between 21^e and 25^e Avenue.

The festivities are free of charge. In case of a storm, they will be cancelled.

These activities are offered in cooperation with the Québec government and the Mouvement national des Québécoises et Québécois as well as Hydro-Québec, the official partner.

There are no fireworks this year. The shows have been expanded (2 major evening shows). Unfortunately, weather conditions are favourable to forest fires in southern Québec, which can lead to a deterioration in air quality (Ouranos 2024 study). In 2023, several fireworks displays were cancelled in the Montréal region for this reason.
