Description
The museum at a glance
The Musée de Lachine includes the Le Ber-Le Moyne historic site, a classified archaeological collection and 17th-century buildings.
It is also home to the Maison Le Ber-Le Moyne, one of the oldest buildings on the island of Montréal, which was built by Jacques Le Ber and Charles Le Moyne. The museum's vast grounds also feature a garden with 15 sculptures. It's a beautiful setting for this unique collection.
Until renovations are complete, the museum team will be offering events on its outdoor site and in different locations around Lachine. The museum has also prepared podcasts on the Maison Le Ber-Le Moyne and Old Lachine, which will soon feature episodes about the borough's Saint-Pierre neighbourhood.
