Parc du Mont-Royal cross-country ski trails
The natural incline at Parc du Mont-Royal is ideal for cross-country skiing. The park features beginner and intermediate trails, and equipment can be rented on site.
Description
Lessons are offered to children and adult cross-country skiers of all levels. Three all-terrain wheelchairs adapted for trail riding on hard-packed snow are available for free loan at Mount Royal Park. No reservations required. First come, first served.

The cross-country ski trails at Parc du Mont-Royal are groomed daily. Skiers can depart from Maison Smith or Beaver Lake. Along the way, they will discover both wooded and wide open landscapes. Visitors can also practice ice skating (4 km) and the alternative step (12 km).

Preservation work the wetlands area
Preparatory work is underway to develop and enhance the wetlands area.
Period: September 2022 to December 2024
Impact of the work:
The path of the cross-country ski trails has been changed to protect this wetland habitat with great ecological value and ensure the safety of skiers.
