Do you bring your pet to a dog park? Please abide by the following guidelines when visiting a dog park.

  • Make sure your dog is wearing its tag, is vaccinated, and has received the proper treatment against parasites.
  • Keep your dog on a leash until you are inside the dog park.
  • Supervise and control your dog, both outside and inside the dog park.
  • Immediately pick up your dog’s droppings and place them in a trash can.
  • Make sure your dog does not disturb the peace in the surrounding neighbourhood, for example by howling.

It is prohibited to:

  • Bring more than two dogs at a time.
  • Feed your dog.
  • Use a dog toy or a stick in the presence of other dogs. This can lead to competition or aggression.
  • Bring a female in heat, a dog presenting symptoms, or a dog that bothers the other dogs in the park.

  • Bringing children under 12 to a dog park is not advised, even if they are accompanied by an adult.
  • Consuming food or beverages is not recommended.
  • Snow removal must be carried out by the dog owners.
