Alphonse Bisaillon has the ardor of Charlebois and the playfulness of Boris Vian. It’s the perfectionism and secret sensitivity of Gainsbourg and the humility of a Bill Evans. It’s a singing project, which owes a lot to Aznavour, but also a progressive music project, which takes us in all directions.
