Innamorati - Quatuor Bozzini and Marcelle Hudon

Date
to

Four musicians perform a series of contemporary pieces, freely interpreted by two puppeteers.

Description

As Colombine rises and Zanni tries to catch her feet, birds chatter and musicians play feverishly. These unlikely lovers meet on a sheet of paper where they attempt to win a race against death together.

The project explores multiple possibilities for exchange and interaction between puppets like the humorous Zanni, everyday objects and scenes such as knitting needles and birds on a wire, and musicians.

You will listen to compositions by Ana Sokolović, Cassandra Miller, Michael Oesterle as well as the quartet’s improvisations.
