Would you like to check if your municipal tax or transfer tax account is paid? Find out how to view your account balance.

How to use the service

Using this service, you can view your up-to-date account balance for property and transfer taxes online.It indicates if you have any amounts to pay.

However, it does not allow to see the details of an invoice. You must view a copy of your tax account to see a detailed calculation of your tax.

To use this service, you’ll need:

  • your account number
  • your access code

This information appears on your annual tax account that you receive by postal mail. Your account number is made up of 8 digits. 

For property transfer duties, please enter only the first 8 digits.

However, you cannot use the service to view other bills (such as receipts and SDC premiums).
