Is your group looking for a place to play a sport? Montréal has a number of playing fields that are available for sports such as soccer, football and baseball. Would you like to reserve a playing field? Find out how.
Most boroughs have designated playing fields for team sports. Groups that would like to use a field will need a permit.
Occasional permits
An occasional permit grants exclusive use of the field at a particular time.
Seasonal permits
A seasonal permit grants exclusive use of a playing field on a periodic, weekly or bi-weekly basis throughout the season.
The types of fields as well as costs and conditions for making a reservation may vary from one borough to another.

The soccer fields at Parc Oscar-Peterson, Parc Louis-Cyr, Parc Joe-Beef, Parc De La Vérendrye, Parc Ignace-Bourget and Parc D’Arcy McGee are available to residents during open-access hours or used during specific periods by local organizations that hold a permit.
A resident or a business can only reserve these fields during open-access hours.
If a resident or a business wishes to reserve a soccer field during a period reserved by a permit holder, they must contact the Association des sports de balle à Montréal (ASBM), which will be able to find them a field in a different borough.
Tennis and pickleball fields
