How to reserve oriflamme banner hangers

You can reserve banner locations by following the steps below.

To make a reservation, you must be a non-profit organization (NPO), a public or parapublic organization, or a business development (SDC) corporation. Private companies and individuals are not eligible.

Reserve well in advance

Reservations must be made at least three months prior to the start of the desired posting. In the event of a cancellation, you must notify the city one month prior to the scheduled posting.

Produce and deliver the material

You must have the design produced at your expense and ensure that it meets the city’s conditions and specifications.

To have it approved, send us a low-resolution file in PDF or JPEG format. Allow a few extra days lead time in case you need to revise the concept.

Approved banners must be delivered for installation at least 15 working days prior to the start of the display period.

Installation and removal

Installation and removal are free. You will receive a confirmation of their removal and instructions on how to retrieve them.

The city is not responsible for broken, stolen or lost banners.


The same banners can be used for two years, provided they are in good condition. The city reserves the right to not install them if they are deemed to be in poor condition.

Your reservation request must specify:

  • The number of banners
  • The display period.

Once your request is accepted, you will receive an official confirmation of the reservation and a schedule to be met for the graphic design, production and delivery of the banners.
